I love the show. I’ve been watching Lost and Desperate Housewives enough that I had to create forums for the shows on my site.

Mitch Gaylord had one hell of a mullet. And what are you doing trying to think during the Olympics? What are you some kind of commie? Should be too busy being overrun with patriotism.
Speaking of HBO and the Olympics, how could anything at Athens today ever hope to top the Animalympics of yesteryear?:

Real athletes are fine and all, but give me an elephant in a wrestling mask over people taking themselves this seriously anyday.

Why no mention of the Wonder Twins? I heard they were the highlight of the show. Big comeback after Gleek’s addiction to painkillers and that whole ugly scandal alleging Jayna used to take baths in Zan. And don’t you mean XXX-men 3? Wait, no. Wrong con.
BTW, abundance of e’s in watermelon. FYI. Amusing entry anyway.

As I visit Lumino magazine for the first time tonight I discover the previously unfamiliar web site that adorned the screen in a certain cubicle while a certain editor of a certain irridescent magazine was supposed to be working hard writing copy, figuring out how to use things and arguing with category managers over capitalization. Uh… nice. Way to honor the anniversary of a fucking great movie. In fact, I was waffling over what to do tonight, but no more. Office Space it is. Thanks.
Classic Michael Bolton quote of the day:
“I was once down at Grand Central Station in New York and I saw Fred Qwynn - you know, Herman Munster - and he was crossing the street and there were these two home girls ahead of me, and as he was crossing the street, the two home girls went ‘Herman Munster?’ And as Fred passed he said, ‘fuck you.” And I was like oh that guy’s life is over being Herman Munster. But I am happy being Michael Bolton. That role and movie has really affected people, so I don’t get mad at people calling me Michael Bolton.”

so you should go. anyway are these people serious about this? seems kind of strange to be celebrating dorothy parker with mimicry. seems the algonquin round table was too busy being clever and drunk and surly to go on walking tours of the haunts of their idols. weren’t they their idols? more cost-efficient and authentic to kill the idols, eliminate the middleman and be drunk and scathing right here at home, i think. but, you know, whatever. i’m just pissed because i don’t look good in a flapper outfit. and i have pynchoncon that weekend. damn.
